As the president of Lay Professional Services, Harry provides services that create value and enhance the performance for the firm’s clients. His most unique service – profit advisory services – includes assisting organizations discover and implement initiatives that improve their bottom line. Harry also facilitates strategic planning retreats for companies throughout the U. S., and then works with the CEO’s to assist them in implementing their strategic plans.

His strategic planning process empowers a company’s leadership with a roadmap and process that increases the likelihood that they will achieve their corporate vision within their desired time frame. His experience in both private business and public accounting uniquely qualifies him as a strategic planning facilitator, creative profit advisor, and a business advisor for all businesses. He serves on numerous boards of directors where he oversees corporate governance, the implementation of strategic initiatives, and supports senior management with their operating results.

Prior to starting his own consulting firm, Harry served as the President and Chief Financial Officer for a large multi‐office international architectural and engineering firm for more than eight years where he directed the financial, treasury, strategic planning, and related administrative activities. This firm was responsible for the opening of all the Wal‐Mart stores built in the U.S. from 1990‐1996, and grew to over 600 employees and almost $100 million in gross billings while earning unprecedented profits for its industry. Before entering the private business sector Harry spent 19 years in public accounting with a Big Five accounting firm, co‐founder and partner for a large local accounting firm, and audit partner with a second‐tier international accounting firm.

Harry is active in multiple organizations in the Tulsa area, including the Small Business Council where he served as Chairman in 2003. In 2000, he was selected as Tulsa’s Small Business Accounting Advocate of the Year and earned his certification as one of an elite group of Certified Profit Enhancement Consultants in the US.

In July of 2004, he graduated from Income Builders International’s Free Enterprise Forum of 704 (now CEO Space). In October of 2004, Harry joined their faculty and now spends eight days, five times a year teaching and coaching CEO’s attending CEO Space forums in California and Nevada.
