Morley G. Mendelson is Of Counsel in the firm’s Corporate, and Tax and Estate Planning Practice Groups in Los Angeles. His practice includes the corporate transactions cellular communications and real estate area with an emphasis on tax consequences.
Mr. Mendelson’s extensive experience include matters involving mergers, acquisitions, private placements, initial public offerings, licensing, financing and secured transactions, satellite communications and agreements, labor disputes, corporate formation and governance matters, complex contract and deal making negotiations, tax issues and analysis, estate planning and litigation avoidance counseling.
He has represented clients in manufacturing, distribution, satellite communications merchandising, transportation, electronics, cellular and wireless communications, common carrier broadcasting, subsidized and low income housing, real estate development and disputes, commercial real estate, food service and healthcare.
Mr. Mendelson was an instructor at San Fernando Valley College of Law (1975), where he lectured on estate and gift tax. He was also an instructor at Southwestern University School of Law (1976‐1982), where he taught estate planning and drafting. He is a member of the California State Bar’s Corporations Committee of Business Law Section.
He received his B.S. in Accounting from California State University, Northridge and earned his J.D. from De Paul University College of Law. Mr. Mendelson is a certified public accountant.
